Back in 2015, Peace Recruitment became the first recruitment firm (and to date still the only one) to be a member of the Institute of Customer Service (ICS). In 2017, as you’ll know (because you’re on the site now), we developed our new website, featuring software that allows clients and candidates to rate both the company as a whole and the individual consultant with whom they have been working and this is then published and available for anyone to see. We’re quite chuffed about both of these things.
Consequently, when it was drawn to my attention that the Institute of Customer Service has an annual awards event, although my first thought was, “we have no chance, it will be full of entries from really big companies with loads to spend on getting their customer service right,” my second thought was, “why not?”
Bearing in mind that we’d had some real success in 2016 when we were recognised by S1jobs as the best small recruitment agency in Scotland, I then thought, “let’s really go for it” - and so we did!
We wrote and submitted the entry. A lot of time passed. I was then fully expecting that we had not got any further in the competition when… into my inbox came an email from ICS. With some trepidation, I opened it and…
CONGRATULATIONS – Peace Recruitment Group
Your entry into the UK Customer Satisfaction Awards 2018 has been successful in Best Application of Technology Award category…”
Fair chuffed about sums it up. Well done to everyone at Peace. You are brilliant and just being nominated in a major, UK-wide competition is a real feather in our caps. Especially when you consider the size and calibre of the opposition. We’re up against a sizeable list, containing, amongst others, the likes of Talk Talk, Vodafone, TransPennine Express and EDF Energy. Congratulations to them and all the other nominated companies in this and every other category. The awards ceremony is in London next March and we can’t wait. As I said, just being nominated is a huge fillip to us all and a real reflection of the talent we have available here at Peace Recruitment.
Well done ladies and gentlemen – you are indeed brilliant.
