Spilt drink, streets with no power - yes, it's another new boy interview!

Posted on by

For some reason, many of the anecdotes (at least the ones we can print) in the interviews with new starts at Peace involve drink.  Now to be fair, it's never specificied whether this is alcoholic drink or simply mulled water or a cocoa spritzer, but we suspect that C2H5OH may be the common denominator. However, you didn't want a discourse on Higher Chemistry (or whatever it's called nowadays), so let's head over and find out about our new boy, Mr Lennon, James of that ilk.

Name: James Lennon

Job title: Resourcer

What other jobs have you done apart from working in recruitment?
Hospitality

Construction

What is the funniest thing you’ve seen at work (anywhere)?
My colleague spilt a tray full of drinks, and my other colleague was laughing so much that he dropped his tray of drinks.

Biggest disaster anywhere at work? (that you can tell us about!)
One of my colleagues was digging a hole for a fence post and managed to hit an electrical cable with a Hilti, putting out all the street's lighting.

Why did you join Peace?
Ambitious SME that has a clear goal with excellent opportunities in a fun and fast paced environment.

Who in the Peace office makes you laugh, and why?
Finleigh (always exceeding) Wells easy-going attitude, or Joey’s one liners.

Favourite holiday destination?
St Lucia

Favourite sport/team or hobby?
LOVE watching Celtic play, or watching the Six Nations -  always a good day out

Where are the real challenges in the recruitment market just now?
Lack of suitable candidates in the market.

Favourite (non work) website and why?
Netflix, always has something decent to watch.
