Site Engineer – Civil Engineering

Peace Recruitment is working with a leading civil engineering contractor to recruit a Site Engineer for upcoming infrastructure projects throughout Scotland.

This role suits someone confident with setting out and managing activity on-site, who’s keen to join a well-run business with consistent work and room to grow.

What you’ll be doing:

• Setting out on civils projects – roads, earthworks, bridges, drainage, etc.

• Supervising subcontractors and coordinating with foremen and site agents

• Managing materials, ensuring work is delivered to spec and on schedule

• Keeping on top of quality, health & safety, and site records

• Attending progress meetings and contributing to problem-solving on-site

What you’ll need:

• Experience in a Site Engineer role within civil engineering

• Competent with robotic total stations

• Good working knowledge of drawings, setting out procedures, and QA

• CSCS card and relevant qualification (HNC/HND or above)

• Strong communication and teamworking skills

• Salary £32,500 – £51,750 (depending on experience)
