Each of Peace Recruitment's consultants specialises in recruiting candidates with particular construction, property or engineering skills.
Our team of Building Services (M&E) consultants keep up to date with the market in order to find appropriate candidates for our clients. If you're a candidate with experience and expertise in the following roles, we can help you find the right job. We have an excellent track record of filling permanent and contract building services vacancies with reliable, fully reference-checked candidates, and because our informed consultants are experts in their field, you don’t have to waste time giving us in-depth explanations of what you need.
We currently work with a number of clients across Scotland including main contractors, M&E contractors, consultancies and public sector organisations. The main positions that we recruit for across this sector include:
When recruiting for M&E design roles, we tend to look for people with a relevant degree in Building Services, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering with knowledge of industry-used software including Hevacomp, IES, Amtech, Dialux, AutoCAD and Revit. For professionals based with our contractor clients, we look for similar qualifications or engineers who have served an apprenticeship as an electrician, plumber or heating engineer. Having your relevant site tickets and training - including CSCS and SMSTS - is also a requirement for certain positions.
Please get in touch if you'd like to discuss any of the jobs posted on our website, or if you'd like to have a confidential discussion about the Building Services market and how we can help you. As well as providing general advice, we can help with salary benchmarking, updating your CV and interview preparation.
Right now, the M&E market is buoyant with plenty of opportunity. We're confident that we can add value to your search for a new job.
Above all, we believe in building honest, long-term relationships with both clients and candidates. If you like the sound of that, let’s talk.
