Architect Glasgow Unit 2 Washington Court, 6 Washington Lane Scotland EH11 2HA Peace Recruitment >GBP £24,000-£37,000 15896 Permanent Architecture 11/03/2020

I am currently working with one of the most unique architecture practices in the country who are looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic ARB registered Architect to join their practice.

The office consists of 13 talented staff (and a dog) in Glasgow and 22 in London. There is a brilliant atmosphere in the office and all of the staff seem to very much enjoy their day to day work and are passionate about the projects they’re involved in. A lot of projects they work on are done in tandem with the London team so there is a real feel of collaboration and a very strong team bond.

In terms of projects they're working on it is predominantly large scale scientific/healthcare/education projects. They are doing the refurb on one of the city's top private schools which is a listed building and are also doing work on a very high value and modern laboratory project in England which is one of the most cutting edge projects in the UK just now so you will get exposure to every type of sector and experience. Projects range from £77m-£720m. All projects they work on are extremely technical and will challenge you and your way of thinking on a daily basis.

As an office they use ArchiCAD but don't be put off if this is not something that you have used before as they are willing to teach you. They do, however, require you to have some experience of a BIM Software such as Revit or Vectorworks.

So what will make you right for this role?

It's all about attitude. They are looking for someone who is willing to learn and engage on projects which will be tricky and will require a lot of time and technical expertise. It is essential that you are a problem solver and that you take great care and detail in the work that you do. You must be ARB registered or very close to gaining this qualification. There will be some travel required to London on occasion to visit site and work with the team based down there.

In turn they will offer you exceptional progression opportunities (they are on the lookout for the next generation to take on the practice) and an extremely competitive salary and pension package.

If this sounds like something you would be interested in or if you would like to chat further don't hesitate to give me a call on 0131 516 3350 or send over an updated CV
