Architect

Position: Location: Salary: Ref: Type: Sector: Posted:
Architect Glasgow Unit 2 Washington Court, 6 Washington Lane Scotland EH11 2HA Peace Recruitment >GBP up to £40k 41583 Permanent Architecture 29/04/2021

One of the most successful Architecture practices in the country are looking for exceptional Architects to join their award winning team in Glasgow. Due to continued growth and an incredibly strong pipeline of work, my client will consider applications from Architectural Technicians who have circa 3-5 years post part III experience in the UK.

As an Architect within this practice you will be working on some of the most niche and prestigious projects in the UK at the moment. These projects range across a number of sectors including but not limited to: healthcare, education, residential, commercial, industrial and transport. Due to their reputation in the market as being one of the best they regularly attract top talent from across Scotland and have continued adding to their team throughout 2020 as they have not noticed any slow down in the market at all. All projects worked on in this practice are completed in Revit so a working knowledge of this software is absolutely crucial in order to be successful in this post. Currently this practice is working from home exclusively although they do plan to return to the office when possible.

What do I need for this role:

  • The key thing that you need for this one is Revit experience – due to the size and scale of projects completed this is the main software used on a day to day basis and therefore it is absolutely essential for any candidates joining them to be able to hit the ground running.
  • You must be confident working as part of a team and autonomously – they pride themselves on their team ethos.
  • Experience working on large scale projects in the UK and a strong portfolio of work is essential.
  • Ideally you will be circa 3-7 years post part III and you must be ARB Registered.

Why should you apply?

In joining this practice you are joining a company/team who are reputed throughout the industry as being one of the absolute best both in terms of talented team members and having some of the best projects. As an Architect with them you will be working on projects from inception to completion and will get the chance to move around teams internally so you can work on buildings across multiple different sectors.

This practice are known for taking very good care of their staff and offer great basic salaries, pension contributions and amazing progression opportunities up the ranks. People who work here tend to stay and they have a very low turnover of staff.
