Peace Recruitment is working with an established affordable home builder. They are one of the Largest in the UK; with a very strong confirmed order book they are looking to recruit an experienced Architectural Technician for an initial 6 month contract with a high chance of extension or a permeant offer on the table thereafter.

Reporting to the Design Manager day to day responsibilities will include the preparation of construction packages, details and specifications and working alongside external consultants and suppliers to complete a full tender package for the commercial, construction, sales and marketing team to work with.

Other responsibilities will include attending office and site based meetings, liaising directly with the NHBC Building Control Department, assisting in the up keep of Standard House Type range, specifications and details as well as suggesting improvements for future packages and providing technical assistance to the team as required.

As part of the role you will need to be up to date with legislation and regulations as well as have an understanding of future regulations that are coming into effect within the industry.

You will also be required to keep up to date with CDM & CPD responsibilities specific to your role.
