Peace Recruitment is working with a hugely successful multi-disciplinary construction consultancy, assisting in their search for an ambitious Chartered building surveyor.

This unique opportunity offers the chance to be based in either their Edinburgh or Glasgow office, allowing flexibility and accommodating a healthy work-life balance. The successful candidate will have a drive to progress within a vibrant team; taking full advantage of the growth and career development potential that is being offered.

 

You will be working on a variety of projects in a number of different sectors,  acting as a lead consultant for various refurbishment projects including briefing clients, feasibility studies, preparing specifications, co-ordinating consultants, tendering and acting as Contract Administrator. You will be expected to carry out surveys, inspections, schedules, provide professional services, and manage schemes across the central belt of Scotland and surrounding regions.

The ideal candidate will have:

-A BSc (Hons) in Building Surveying or a similar degree accredited by RICS

-MRICS

-Significant Building Surveying experience within a consultancy

-A full driving licence and willingness to travel as required

-Strong IT skills, Word, Excel and MS Project as minimum

-Good AutoCAD skills

-Experience in managing clients and their expectations

-A meticulous and professional approach to all elements of the role
