Are you part of a consultancy waiting for that “something different”? Looking for a new challenge working directly with a client or asset owner organisation? Well look no further!

Peace Recruitment have been approached to assist on a very exciting, and unique opportunity, within a client side organisation based in Edinburgh. This particular position has arisen due to expansion within the clients project delivery team and the need for more Development/Project Management resource. The position may suit an individual with a construction discipline background looking for something a bit different.

You would be working within a variety of project sectors including Retail, Commercial, Energy and Infrastructure. Experience within any of the prior mentioned sectors would be highly desirable but not essential, the client is more than happy to consider candidates with varied experience as long as you have the right attributes to integrate well within the environment/team.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership on multiple projects across the estate
  • Proactively identify, evaluate and manage project risk
  • Active management of cost and risk throughout the project lifecycle
  • Ensure all planning and implementation is undertaken
  • Liaise and update stakeholders throughout the project timeline
  • Make recommendations on project solutions, taking in to account value, build-ability and income potential
  • Developing options to best meet business requirements

Requirements:

  • Experience within a construction discipline may be beneficial, but roles from a range of backgrounds will be considered
  • Early stage project management/development experience
  • Exposure of dealing with Assets/Estates
  • People person and team player
  • Problem solver
  • Someone who is a facilitator and analytical
  • Capable of working under pressure within a fast paced environment

In return:

  • Salary – circa £45,000 DOE
  • Bonus up to 10%
