Peace Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting an Environmental Advisor on behalf of a leading Civil Engineering business.

Primarily this role will be based in Wick in the North of Scotland however, this client has a strong pipeline of work across Scotland.

This role will be Monday – Friday (8am – 5.30pm) however flexibility would be offered should you be staying away from home (A living away allowance + accommodation will also be provided).

Ideally candidates will have 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role and be looking to progress with a leading contractor.

Duties will include:

  • Assisting the PM with environmental conditions/requirements of the project
  • Liaising with the project environmental CoW
  • Measuring, monitoring and reporting water quality
  • Reviewing and assisting with discharging conditions as detailed in regulatory and local authority permit and consents.
  • Assist with Environmental Management System
  • Assist with updates to environmental documents and plans
  • Compliable accurate reports in relation to environmental alerts/mitigation measures
  • Report back relevant findings to both client and our company to ensure transparency
  • Assist with Environmental Method Statements when required
  • Liaise with engineers and prepare permits to pump for sign off
  • Monitor compliance for Environmental Method Statements

The successful candidate will have:

  • Degree with Environmental or other relevant qualification
  • Auditing qualification
  • Full Drivers License
  • First Aid qualification
