Peace Recruitment are working exclusively with the fantastic charity CHAS. Working within the culture, ethos and philosophy of CHAS, responsible for the operational management of facilities and property services for non-hospice sites across Scotland. The main aim of this post is to support the development of non-hospice sites into high functioning, flexible spaces that promote creativity and a connection to the charity and the work undertaken.
This will be a varied role where you will be responsible for both the hard and soft facilities services as well as property maintenance within the non-hospice sites. You will be the point of contact for small project works within the organisation and any internal office move that take place. You will be line managed by the Facilities Manager however you will be working together to ensure that all aspects of health and safety are compliant and kept up to date. You will line manage the facilities assistant but will provide training and support to a number of colleagues within the organisation.
The successful candidate will need experience in both facilities management as well property management. You will be required to manage multiple sites so experience with remote delivery and excellent communication skills are essential. Previous roles within the public sector are beneficial but not essential. You will visit various locations so your own vehicle and driving license is required for this position. Any business mileage will be reimbursed.
