Project Architect

Would you like to join one of the most prominent practices in the Scottish Market? The opportunity has opened up to join this market leader in a pivotal role so don’t miss out on this chance to work on some of the most intriguing projects in Scotland at the moment.


You will be working on a wide variety of high end projects across multiple sectors including: residential, commercial, listed buildings, education, hotels, leisure and conservation. As you will be joining a team of experts it would be advantageous to have experience in at least a couple of these sectors. In return you will be supported in your career by the practice who will actively encourage progression up the ladder.


Your Key responsibilities will be:

  • Leading the project through all RIBA stages from inception to completion
  • Mentoring less experienced team members
  • Ensuring project is delivered on time and on budget while keeping the high standards this practice is associated with.
  • Coordinating the team throughout the process.
  • Meeting with clients and contractors and relaying information back to the team.

As this client are looking for someone to join them at a reasonably senior level it is important that you are able to work with a level of autonomy. Obviously, there will be support from the senior management team if necessary but it is essential that you have at least 7 years experience as a project architect in the UK to be considered for this role. It is also essential that you are able to manage a varied workload and have experience across multiple relevant sectors.


In order to do this role you must have:

  • 7+ years of UK project Architect experience
  • Experience working in multiple sectors of the Architecture industry.
  • Experience managing teams and meeting with clients and contractors.
  • It is essential that you have strong interpersonal skills and communication skills.
  • Experience across all RIBA stages from inception to completion.
