A leading residential building company based in London have a fantastic opportunity for a Project Manager to oversee site managers and teams of direct labour for two brand new high end residential developments in Stirling.

The contractor specialise in high-end refurbishment and new build of both contemporary and traditional properties. They work both on a Design and Build basis and as a traditional Main Contractor. Throughout their organisation they concentrate on providing high quality workmanship combined with a personal and attentive service.

You will be based between Edinburgh and Stirling.

The successful applicant will work both individually and as a team member, reporting to the Directors, towards the successful delivery of high-end residential projects of values between £500,000 - £3million.

The candidate will be responsible for the overseeing of Site Managers and their on site teams and will have experience in managing multiple projects. Experience in procuring and managing subcontractors and specialist suppliers is essential.

The role will include strong cost control, building/structural knowledge, and project management skills. 

They are are looking for an individual who is highly motivated to deliver current projects and drive their expansion and exposure to the Scottish market going forward.

 Essential Skills:

  • Minimum of 5 years Project/Contracts Management experience on high end residential properties.
  • A proven track record in planning, executing and delivering profitable construction contracts. 
  • Excellent communication and management skills.
  • Excellent building and structural knowledge. 
  • Experience with Contracts Management and intimate knowledge of the JCT Contract. 
  • Experience with Cost Control and Change Management. 
  • Advanced computer skills and excellent knowledge of Excel.
  • Project Programming experience (Microsoft Projects or similar). 
  • Tertiary qualification preferred but not essential.
