Peace Recruitment is working with one of Scotland busiest contractors to source a Quantity Surveyor.  This busy team have a huge order book of work for the next 5 years and, as a result, require an experienced quantity surveyor at either intermediate or senior level, for projects in the east central belt region.

Their intention is to be able to develop the successful candidate with a strong career path in a very versatile organisation.  The projects are affordable housing, and would suit an experienced QS from either a housebuilding or main contractor background.

Along with a competitive basic salary (£40,000 - £50,000 DOE), a company car, Healthcare, Pension Scheme is on offer.

The ideal candidate would have a minimum of HNC qualification in Quantity Surveying.  They are looking for a confident and measured individual who is happy to work in a team environment.  Based between site and head office the key duties of the role include:-

• Procurement, Interim and final account agreement of sub-contractors
• Accurate Budget preparation
• Site Measurements
• Accurate Pricing and Rating of variations
• Maintaining good quality and accurate records
• Maintenance of cost information
