As a result of continued success with a Key National Client Peace Recruitments client is looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to work in Edinburgh or Glasgow. We are looking to speak with quantity surveyors with 4 years’ experience post grad, ideally in civil, infrastructure or building.

Skills and experience

  • Experience in administering NEC3 contracts.
  • Relevant professional Quantity Surveying or equivalent experience.
  • Good Negotiation and communication skills
  • Confident in QS/commercial management of projects and risk management.


  • Support the Employer's PM in administering NEC3 contracts.
  • Interface with contractors for the administration of the contract and all matters relating to Risk Management, Payment, Cost Reporting including VOWD and in particular the review and process of changes.
  • Attend contract meetings with contractors, review contract communications and liaising with other QSs and PMs.
  • Reporting to Contract Manager/Project Manager
  • Assist procurement in raising and administering supplier, contractor and professional services contracts using the NEC family of contracts.


A BSc/ MSc other qualification in Quantity Surveying recognised by RICS. MRICS qualified, or working towards chartership.

Other Requirements

  • A full, clean UK driver’s licence.
  • The right to work in the UK.
