My client, a leading independant firm of Property speacliaed are looking for a well experienced Rural Surveyor to join their Farm and Rural Estates department. The role will be based out of their Edinburgh city centre office but cover all of Scotland. 

The main aim upon joining with be to assist and  develop its business in a pro-active and entrepreneurial manner whilst ensuring an exceptional standard of customer service is provided to all potential and actual vendors and buyers. You will assist and manage all stages of the sales process from the point of instruction, ensuring you go above and beyond.

You will have a good knowledge and understanding of rural Scotland and Scottish agriculture and will have the opportunity to undertake Red Book Valuation work and a range of rural professional and management work a minimum of 5 years argiculture expereince is desired. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for adhering agreed sales systems and processes (for both vendors and applicants) with the aim of delivering an exceptional service experience. Ensures KPIs for applicant contact, vendor contact, viewings, potential vendors etc. are met.

  • Responsible for all stages of the sales process of those properties assigned to you by the Team Director, maximising conversion rates at each stage.

  • Responsibilities include:

    • -  Ensuring that the marketing material produced is of a high quality/accurate and compliant. 

    • -  Launch strategy for each property

    • -  Negotiation of offers, including setting and managing closing dates

    • -  Managing sales progression from offer to completion

  • Trained to expert standard on the sales database (Reapit)

  • Supporting the Team Director in the implementation of the tactical branch marketing plan

Compliance & Administration

  • Understand compliance requirements and liaises collegaues to ensure all documentation is received.

  • Responsible for ensuring accuracy of data input, therefore ensuring the accuracy of

    management accounts and management reporting.

  • Invoicing – raise marketing fee and sales commission invoice.

Key Requirements:

Education and Qualifications

  • MRICS

  • Driving licence

 

Experience and Technical skills

  • Proven ability to deliver exceptional standards of customer service

  • Good knowledge of the farm and residential sales processes within the Scottish market

  • Expert in handling sales negotiations

  • Proficient in the use of IT systems including MS Word, Excel & Outlook.
