Peace Recruitment is working with a successful Scottish Building Surveying Practice, assisting in their search for a professional Senior Chartered Building Surveyor to join their team in Edinburgh or Glasgow. You will be involved in a variety of projects between both the private and public sectors. During one of the busiest growth periods for our client and with a new arm to my clients current practice for 2021, their Building Surveying team will be busier than ever. You will have full autonomy delivering commercial and residential surveys, playing a key role in the companies new venture which will see the opportunity to progress as the business grows.

This unique opportunity will allow you to join an already well established team, enabling you to grow and develop your skills and project portfolio. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be actively involved in new and exciting pitch work as well as acting exclusively for several blue-chip clients with whom there are frameworks in place.

The team you will be joining is already one of the market leaders in providing dilapidation services on an array of commercial properties in Scotland, and has a diverse and growing client base. This requires you to have strong inter-personal skills, as well as a strong understanding of Commercial Building Surveying.

What is required of you:-

  • Experience in working in both the public and private sectors
  • BSc (Hons) in Building Surveying or a similar degree accredited by RICS
  • MRICS in Building Surveying
  • IT skills; Word, Excel and MS Project as minimum
  • Ability to work at a pace, while prioritising and meeting deadlines
