Peace Recruitment is delighted to be working exclusively with a multi-award-winning private developer based in Central Scotland to recruit an experienced Land Manager.
This is an outstanding opportunity to join a highly respected business with an exceptional reputation for delivering high-quality residential developments across Scotland. With a strong pipeline of existing projects and ambitious growth plans, the business is looking to appoint a commercially astute Land Manager to help drive its future success.
The successful candidate will ideally join the business in September/October and play a key role in identifying, securing and progressing new residential development opportunities throughout the West of Scotland.
The Role
As Land Manager, you will be responsible for identifying strategic land opportunities, managing acquisitions from initial appraisal through to completion, and working closely with internal teams to maximise the value of every opportunity.
Key responsibilities include:
- Identifying and securing residential development opportunities across the West of Scotland.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with landowners, agents and key stakeholders.
- Undertaking land appraisals, feasibility studies and financial viability assessments.
- Negotiating option agreements, conditional contracts and land acquisitions.
- Working closely with the Planning, Technical, Commercial and Construction teams throughout the development process.
- Monitoring market activity and identifying future opportunities.
- Presenting opportunities and recommendations to senior leadership.
About You
We're keen to speak with experienced Land professionals who possess:
- Extensive knowledge of the West of Scotland land market.
- A proven track record in residential land acquisition.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Experience carrying out financial appraisals and development viability assessments.
- A solid understanding of planning policy and the residential development process.
- Commercial awareness with the ability to identify and unlock development opportunities.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach with excellent communication skills.
